Tidelock Command

★★★★☆ 4.3 Editor rating

Tidelock Command asks you to defend drifting islands while the ocean level climbs every few minutes. You build walls, reroute power, and reposition turrets, all while the map literally shrinks under you. It's tense in a way most mobile strategy games aren't.

The touch controls deserve credit. Dragging units into formation feels natural, and you can pause to issue orders if things get hectic. I played mostly in that pause-heavy style and never felt punished for it.

My one gripe is the mid-game grind for upgrade materials, which can drag. But the core tension of fighting both an enemy and the water itself kept pulling me back. It's a smart, slightly stressful little war.
