About

Pocket Finds started as a shared chat thread between a few friends who kept sending each other screenshots of weird mobile games at 1am. At some point it felt silly to keep that to ourselves, so we built a small site and started writing things down properly.

We focus on indie and smaller-studio releases because that's where the odd, personal ideas live. Big polished titles already have mountains of coverage. We'd rather spend a week with a puzzle game made by two people in a basement.,Everything here gets played before it gets written about. No press-release summaries, no copy-pasting store descriptions. If a game runs hot or drains your battery in twenty minutes, we'll say so.,How we pick: we watch new-release lists, read community threads, and take reader suggestions. If a game looks genuinely new in how it plays, we put it in the queue. We cover every genre on purpose, because sticking to one gets boring fast.
